Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Jose Ramirez Must Face Catterall or Vacate Title!

THE RETURN OF men's world title action to UK television on BT Sport proved to be a short-lived affair on Saturday when Josh Taylor made quick work of the mandatory challenger for his unified super lightweight titles.

He'll vacate. Everyone knows the Taylor vs Ramirez winner would still be considered the undisputed jr WW champ to the fans.

Bob doesn't give a fck about your ****ty belt Paco.

Odd...Frank said just the opposite when Dillian Whyte was the Mandatory. ????

So basically Frank wants the stationing body to disallow a unification. Frank expects them to strip Taylor, alienate Top Rank and hang their financial future on Frank Warren and Catterall.

Not only is it hypocritical but more importantly a financial disaster.

      Good luck with that.

Jack Catterall recently beat Oscar Amador....a guy that lost his last 19 fights. Taylor would knock Jack out cold while eating a ham sandwich, calling his Mom and watching reruns of David Hasselhoff in knight rider.

Frank needs to GET A JOB and stop posing as a promoter.

Would the WBO really get in the way of an undisputed fight with four belts on the line? for Catteral? Josh would annihilate him.

Here we go again. Two undisputed title fight's (Fury/Joshua & Taylor/Ramirez} at jeopardy due to the Johnny come lately WBO. Yes of course the WBA, WBC & IBF take the piss & want there pound of flesh, but rarely wreck undisputed unification's as do the 4th rate WBO. "First up best dressed, Last in pig swill for breakfast, so piss off WBO"!!............

Its better for Taylor if they strip Ramirez. He can make a nice purse vs Catterall for that last belt in Europe. Assuming Taylor beats Ramirez.

Bob Arum said that Ramirez vs Taylor won't take place until fans are allowed back in the arenas.

Having the WBO call for the Caterall mandatory keeps Ramirez active and let's them postpone unification for later on down the road.
