Comments Thread For: Pedraza: I Think Lomachenko Will Dominate Lopez, But He Can't Get Reckless

Having already shared the ring with him, Jose Pedraza is well-versed on the boxing brilliance of Vasiliy Lomachenko. The former two-division titlist believes that at some point, a similar lesson will be taught to Teofimo Lopez. Pedraza has his own fight to concentrate on this weekend as he faces Javier Molina in a junior welterweight pairing of 2008 Olympians this Saturday. Their ESPN+ headliner-which airs live from The Bubble in Las Vegas-will mark Pedraza's third fight at the weight and fourth overall since a December 2018 points loss to Ukraine's Lomachenko (14-1, 10KOs) to end his lightweight title reign.

Not interested in Pedraza's analysis, just like he wasn't interested in fighting Teofimo Lopez @ 135! "Shook One!"

I am not sure that Teofimo will get as much credit as others who have gone the distance with Lomachenko after he has proclaimed loudly and often that Lomachenko's best days are behind him and how he is going to destroy Loma. The smart thing to do is to praise the opponent's skills before that fight. That way if you win people know that you beat a great fighter. If you lose, it does not harm your reputation as much because you lost to a great fighter. But if you denigrate you opponent before the fight. You will get little credit if you win and much scorn if you lose.

Old sheep, loser mentality (not addressing you specifically). No respect or praise will be given whatsoever. Lopez should shit on him a lot more. There are many avenues of attack still left. This is just the start.

Lopez shouldn't shake hands or touch gloves, even if he loses.

Old sheep, loser mentality is the one that had 98% of this forum picking Commey, not because they know boxing. That's the old way. Commey was in fact a bum. I said that before the fight and won a bet. I almost always bet the opposite of NSB members.

Lopez will have to hit Loma hard and early.

Pedraza is another bum that will turn journeyman in a couple of fights.

Way too early for Teo. Loma is miles ahead of everybody, including Gervonta, Devin and Ryan. Vasil is just on another level and will end up humbling Lopez and his father. Teo will definitely learn and grow from this fight. He will discover the definition of 'talk is cheap'.
