Brook taking another loss for a payday. What a completely mismanaged career this dude has had.

I remember thinking Brook vs Thurman was gonna the biggest fight to make at ww. Then Thurman got injured, Brook outgrew 47, ******ly took the GGG fight, got smashed, tried to come back down to 47 from 160 and an eye surgery, got smashed again, another eye surgery, inactivity, lack luster fights at 154, more inactivity & now once again trying to squeeze back down to 47.

Hopefully the fight is at a catch weight or maybe Bud can just fight him at 54. I just don't see how anyone can say they see Brook beating Bud at 147 in 2020, knowing all the things I mentioned above

        A no-win fight for BUD.
He wins... he beat a fighter who for all intents and purposes is damaged goods.
He loses....he becomes the biggest laughing stock in boxing.

The only upside is both are picking up $$$$ for their efforts.

I mean at this point in his career why not just take the fight for a quick payday? I am not disagreeing with everything you said because I agree. His mistake was moving up too high then trying to come back down. This is partially why I think Canelo has not moved up to 175 because he still has plenty of fights at 160-168 he can make and make a lot of money doing so. Brook could left a solid mark on the ww division had he not gotten greedy. Oh well.

Let's see which version of Brook shows up. He's no pushover. He defeated a prime undefeated Shawn Porter. Gave GGG all types of issues before the size difference took over.
Gave Errol Spence the toughest fight of his career (you can even say he was beating Spence). Before he broke his eye socket.

A good fight and solid test for Bud who will more than likely be too fresh and sharp for Kell but as I say a solid test.

At this point Bud just needs to get in the ring. I understand what you're saying but honestly it almost doesn't matter that this point. He's gonna be 33 soon and he can't afford to sit out for extended periods and only fight once a year. You have to figure that he won't be in his prime for much longer so he needs to make these next 24 months count. After that he will probably be a skilled but aging fighter.

So much for not wanting this fight. They dropped some names and are still fighting Brook.

Going after that easy UK money.

I hope that Brook puts him on his a s s
