  • Comments Thread For: Arum on Fury-Wilder III: We're Working To Have Limited Amount Of Fans On 12/19

Bob Arum is optimistic that at least a limited number of fans will be able to attend the third Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder fight on December 19. Arum's promotional company, Top Rank Inc., and Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions are working with the Nevada State Athletic Commission on protocols that would allow a restricted amount of spectators to watch Fury-Wilder III in person that night at Allegiant Stadium, the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders.

I'd love to go to the first fight at that venue, but at 6ft seating distance I'm assuming that's going to greatly increase the ticket price. Not to mention the seats worth a damn would be expensive as fook without covid precautions.

Yeah. I mean, I don't see why they can't have fans at this point. The frikin gyms are open now. Sure, we're supposed to be cleaning what we use, wiping down sweat off the equipment, but how many actually follow the rules?

At least at the arena, nobody will have sat in those seats prior to you. They should have been crazy sanitized before anyone got there. At this point, it's safer than being at a movie theater. With that said, you are still wearing your face mask. The air conditioning system should hopefully help cleanse the air. I mean, unless someone shows up, removes his mask and starts coughing his brains out like a dumbass, I can't see how this can be any more dangerous than again, a gym or movie theater (heck restaurant for that matter).

For me, a fight at a venue where it only occurs after it's been scheduled and setup is a heck of a lot safer than anywhere with rapid repeated use.

If this is true I know where I am heading for my Christmas vacation. Nothing better than a seat to watch Fury dismantle Wilder once again.

There was always going to be a "limited number of fans" at this fight that no one wants to see hahahaha. Two frauds fighting each other to spite AJ and Hearn. Both only have 2 good names on their resumes. One is a man-kissing, Nandrolone steroid cheat who has never defended a belt. The other is a twerking, bum-beating, excuse-making phoney who got stopped as soon as he stepped up. I laugh at you idiots who somehow think that Fury is unbeatable based off one fight. Just like I laughed at you idiots who thought Wilder was the hardest puncher in boxing history based off beating bums.

Wilder couldn't fill a stadium anyway I think they are using covid as an excuse.

Wilder was never the hardest puncher in boxing. Fury may be married to hes own cousin. But AJ got slaughtered by a guy who's never been in shape in hes life, isn't a noted puncher., and Hearn puts guys in with fighters who he knows failed a drug test, and creates instant rematches when eliminators don't go hes way.

They should just have a black lives matter protest in the arena. nobody authorities seem to care about crowds when that happens.

Yeah but Fury vs Schwarz sold
5,489 tickets. 2,000 of those tickets were given away for free at MGM gaming floor.
