The super featherweight champion of the World Boxing Council ( WBC ), Miguel 'Alacran' Berchelt , expects a war in the ring in the long-awaited fight against his compatriot Oscar Valdez . Both are concentrated in their respective camps and are only wait for the promoters to agree on a concrete date for the contest, but everything seems to indicate that it would be November 7, although it could move by one or two weeks in the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Valdez must attain whatever he can with the Reynoso’s defensively if he wants to win this!

Can’t take the shots he took from Adam Lopez and Jayson Velez, both are nowhere near the juggernaut punching of Alacran Berchelt!

I expect it to be competitive early and then Berchelt shows his size, power an ability and stops Valdez brutally in the 9th!

Will be a action packed fight so I will tune in if I can!

Will be one sided Valdez eats too many punches and Berchelt will be more than happy to feed him those punches til the kid is unconscious.

berchelt may punch himself out trying to KO valdez. valdez is incredibly tough he's fought through a broken jaw and won.

Your right Valdez although chinny has shown he can come back and get a stoppage after being hurt or dropped but Berchelt power is fight ending.

Valdez has unquestioned heart, but he simply won't survive the relentless two-fisted attack of Berchelt. I want to see Berchelt vs. Stevenson, Tank or GRJ.

This fight will be a war. Guaranteed. Smells like fight of the year. None of that pitty-pat punches, hugging, running and being " slick " and defensive.

I remember Oscar Valdez gettin dropped by the natural featherweight adam lopez who took the fight as a fill-in on something like 3 or 4 days notice.. that being said I feel a little uneasy for Valdez
