        Vito was a circus strong man, his punch was regular and his skin betrayed him. By the time Alan fought him, Antifurmo had 50 fights, some vs much better than Alan. Not saying Minter didn't earn his way, but Haglar was out of his league. Vito was out of his league earlier. Alan gets some props for going after the money, even if Vito was already hamburger. RIP.

          Alan was ripped off big time bad @ the Munich Olympic's! As a pro he won British (Lonsdale belt outright) & European championships. (Shame he didn't gain the Commonwealth title, to make him a triple crown champion) This was of course before pantomime villain Frank Warren came along to plague & demean the sport with meaningless IBF/WBO Euro, Continental, Inter-continental & international bauble's. "Oh to go back to the good old day's, when sport was sport & not big business"!!....
