  • Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor: Postol's Performance Outstanding; Ramirez? Not So Much

Josh Taylor wasn't nearly as impressed with Jose Ramirez on Saturday night as he was with how Viktor Postol performed. Ramirez retained his WBC and WBO 140-pound titles against Postol, whom he beat by majority decision in their 12-round fight at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. Taylor still saw plenty of flaws in Ramirez, the opponent the IBF/WBA champ hopes to meet next if he wins his own mandated title defense September 26 in London.

People keep picking Taylor against Ramirez will be in for a very rude awakening when they fight!

I always knew Postol was gonna give Jose a tough out and he gave Josh hell as well!

That being said Ramirez if he goes to Glasgow, he’s gonna have to step up his level an put more
Pressure on his opponent to get the stoppage otherwise he’ll be in Postol’s place where one guy did enough but won’t get it due to nature of location!

Bob Arum will favor American cites.

          The OPPOSITE is also true!!

A pickem fight in my book.
Ramirez eats a little too much leather for my liking.
His game is pressure , pressure and more pressure. He is going to need more than that to beat the talented Taylor.

Postol is a tough out for anyone in the division.

Whoever wins the LOCATION battle is likely going to get the node if it goes the distance.

No way this goes the distance regardless of location.... Taylor's corner throws the towel or the Ref stops this fight around 8-9 rounds..

The 'Tart-Tomato' Josh Taylor is faking the funk, he knows that crook Ian John Lewis bailed him out when Viktor Postol had Taylor on *****-street in the seventh round. In contrast, the 'Ice-Man' never hurt Jose Ramirez, but Josh Taylor relied on his cracked-jaw to get the W.

Jose Ramirez showed the 'Tart-Tomato' how its done, and for that tweet, Josh Taylor is a confirmed, HATER.

Taylor seems to think Ramirez ****ing Postol on the ropes was outstanding.. lol. Ok. it’s as if Taylor is begging for Ramirez vs Postol rematch to buy more time and cause controversy.

Taylor should just unify with Ramirez immediately. Forgot that Thai guy

Totally agree with that. It will be a tough fight but I think Taylor is more talented and could outbox Ramirez!
