Comments Thread For: James: I Wish Ugas Luck, Maybe Down The Line We Can Do This Rematch

Given the belt he just collected earlier this month, the next order of progression for Jamal James would be to upgrade. Doing so, would lead to one of the biggest names in the sport. Or it could lead to a shot at avenging his lone defeat as a pro. The streaking welterweight from Minneapolis boxed and punched his way to the interim version of the World Boxing Association (WBA) title following a 12-round unanimous decision win over Thomas Dulorme. The win-which aired atop a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles-would put him in line for a crack at the current claimant to the real WBA strap.

I would favor Jaron "Boots" Ennis to beat both Jamal James and Yordenis Ugas! I don't understand why we still don't know who is his opponent on 9/19? Not a good look! Would love for it to be Josesito Lopez, but I read Lopez might fight Mo" Hooker on Spence vs. Garcia undercard? I guess Hooker signed with PBC?

I wanna see boots against anybody that has a name really. I think he has what it takes to be a real threat in the division

The fact that he does not have a named opponent yet, tells me he's fighting a bum! I think the young man is the real deal! they need to get David Avanesyan, Custio Clayton, or Keita Obara, in the ring with him ASAP!

I believe Hooker signed with the PBC last week and he may be on the Spence Jr vs Garcia undercard.

Id like to see him Josesito Lopez, Collazo or David Avanesyan. That would be a good gare fight.

All would be perfect! He needs a real vet to test him!
