Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua Wants To Fight This Year and He Will Fight

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, says the British superstar is dead set on fighting in 2020. Joshua has been out of the ring since December of 2019, when he won back his world titles with a twelve round unanimous decision over Andy Ruiz in Saudi Arabia.

AJ only cares about the money, he knows he vulnerable in every fight, so isn't going to risk it all unless it's top dollar.

I doubt AJ ever fights fury, as it's an almost certain loss for AJ. Eddie knows this.

@ JKP AJ beat T. Fury and I'm sure u gonna come back to say some sh't about the d win. Every fight different and there isn't anyone in top 10 that can't beat the other if d opportunity are presented with a second loss of concentration. What happen to why has happened a number of times and he's gonna be the last and he sure does come back. Matchroom makes d biggest right now in boxing and pays he's athletes better than Rob Arum or Golden Boy.

As much as I hate to admit, I think you are talking facts.

Hearn is WAP, I have seen Lemonade stands run by a six year old that have more business acumen than this clown. He would rather make no money than good money. And his team can’t match make for sh@t. He needs to write a book called achieving failure repeatedly for dummies.

Did you know they sparred years ago?
Did you know Fury announced AJ (who was then unknown) to the world in an interview where he says there's a kid who just beat the **** out of him in sparring?

Why would AJ be afraid of somebody he has dominated in sparring?

Why do you know so little about boxing, yet talk so much about boxing (How's the tiddlywinks)?

To be fair, I can only speak of the UK boxing scene (which you don't seem to have the slightest clue about).

Maybe you should watch a few interviews with prominent figures on the UK scene before you embarrass yourself by commenting.

AJ lives a relatively humble life. He does a lot of charity work and helps kids. He really isn't all about the money.
Fury is even more humble, both have nice things, but neither is excessive or showy.
AJ wants Fury, don't worry about that, he beat him up in sparring after all.
