The majority of the fight was fought on Persoon's terms, whereas as a truly skilled fighter like Mayweather dictates a fight and fights on his terms at his pace. Taylor's so called skills are massively overrated.

Because of this perception of Taylor's skills. Any round she lands a decent punch in is scored for her, even if in reality she has taken 5 shots to the head and just being bullied and bossed. She's garbage and I'm done watching her in these fights that she can't lose in as she's starting them with a 4 point headstart. Absolute joke.
THANK YOU! Taylor lands 1-2 of those "WOW" shots per round and is automatically given the round. Just like Canelo. I watched Canelo vs. Trout three times and can't honestly find more than four rounds that he won.

Persoon only confirmed what I already believe and that is Katie Taylor won the fight 96-94. I thought the fight was close but Taylor chose to box more this time and kept Persoon off balance most of the fight.

While Delfine was the aggressor throughout the fight; However, most of her punches were hitting air because of the constant head and body movement by Katie Taylor. She wouldn't stand still long enough to absorb enough punishment.

I thought that Katie's clean punching and counters were the difference in the fight each time Persoon attempted to pressure Taylor on the inside. This time Katie stepped around her more while refusing to trade and exchange punches with Persoon.

I thought it was a very close but clear victory for Katie Taylor.

Taylor easily outboxed Persoon in the first few rounds, then by the looks of things she tired out which allowed Persoon to catch her more. There were only two rounds that Persoon clearly, undoubtably won. She only just nicked the other two. Taylor undoubtably won three (or four), and just nicked the others.

People need to realise, throwing punches at an opponent who slips, blocks and parries them is not a scoring criteria. Blocking, parrying and slipping punches is.

Let's just breakdown what happened in the second half of the fight; Persoon was plowing forward, throwing 8 punches to land 2 as Taylor was slipping, blocking, and parrying. Taylor was fighting in bursts of 4 or 5 punches and landing 2, which were cleaner and more effective, and then slipping the majority of punches being thrown back. So that's Taylor's defence, for the most part, was more effective than Persoon's aggression, and Taylor's punches, for the most part, were cleaner and more effective.

If Persoon threw 100 punches per round and only landed 20 due to Taylor's defence, and Taylor threw 20 punches per round and lands ten, Taylor wins the round. Effective defence beats ineffective aggression. Unfortunately, people seem to think scoring is subjective, but it simply isn't. The criteria is set in stone.

The 98–92 score was ridiculous. 96–94 to Taylor is what I had it. It could have been 96–94 to Persoon or a draw. That's by no means a robbery.

I can't quite understand anyone being adamant either way.

Judges are sitting ringside and they can only see what they can see.

I had Taylor winning, but I had her winning in June and I had Breakhus winning last week. I'll always judge effective punches, defence and movement more highly than windmilling and hoping something lands. Of course if the windmill is landing then you judge what you see. But a clean straight right hand beats a grazing blind hook every day. Not all punches are equal.

After the Breakhus cards last week I thought Persoon might get the result. She put on huge pressure, even if it was very crude. I don't know what the punch stats said but it was probably pretty even.

But if you rate those shots equally, then you could easily have Persoon ahead. And MacCaskill.

A weird quirk of our sport. 3 people who don't necessarily have the best view decide the fight.

I thought Persoon got screwed in the first match, but agree that KT was the winner yesterday, I saw both live.
It was a close fight that could have gone either way by one or two points or even a draw. But this time around I think they got the right decision. Those, like 1MinuteCum, that are crying about a robbery are the ones that think Wilder completely outboxed Fury in the first fight their comments are driven by their emotions. More specifically, their closeted homósexual feelings towards Eddie Hearn.
