DAZN/Skipper were naive to trust in Oscar and Eddie to have easily worked together

Whatever the case may be, both Oscar and Hearn were so hyped and optimistic that DAZN gave them platforms to showcase their rosters. Even in early talks, be it Oscar and Eddie geeking DAZN that Canelo vs GGG would help their platform solely (said) because they got deals themselves, nobody would’ve thought how Oscar vs Hearn would turn out.

The real reason why Canelo has had problems was because Hearn saw what GBP did to Jacobs and the Co-promoted Kovalev. Then Hearn lost Farmer to Jo Jo Diaz.

Can you really blame Hearn for coercing his fighters to not look at Canelo? Again, the more Champions lost for any promotional roster decreases in value. Hearn always wanted BJS vs Smith. Oscar was ****** to waste his time with Hearn.

Top Rank and PBC don’t suffer from this because they don’t have internal competition. They provide exclusive fights because their brands/companies are the main supplier.
