The negotiations have been on and off for the last few months, but New Zealand heavyweight rivals Joseph Parker and Junior Fa are a step closer to an agreement for a fall showdown. Eddie Hearn, who has a multi-fight deal with Parker, has not named the opponent but recently stated that he's close to getting a deal done for a "great fight" to take place on a date in October.

Parker is at second position by WBO, so he clearly wants to get another mandatory shot to WBO champ and he plans no big risks until than.

They have a profile of being journeyman at this point really fighting guys with multiple losses so it would be pointless again for Parker to accept any of those fights vs an undefeated rival in their own country so not really any logic here .

your all nob jockeys, fa" is the only man to defeat parker twice so this aint gunna be no easy fight, parker should win but this fa" guy cannot be under estimated like one of eddies fall guys, this will do big numbers in new zealand, probly be a ratings block buster, and the big plus is the winner will be rated very very high in every ones rankings, dummies!!!!!

You just want Parker to have an easy fight like he’s been doing for 2 years and they weren’t even easy going in spots . Your to obsessed with him ,any real fight fan knows an undefeated guy who has wins over someone in the past is the more intriguing fight .
