There shouldn't be a long drawn out negotiation process. Garcia has a huge following outside the ring but he still needs to apply that to inside the ring numbers. I like him but his holier than thou attitude is causing me to lose interest.

lol, it's been so true though. Ryan is not the only one guilty of it though. A lot of fighters have just been going back and forth hyping up fictitious fights. At least as of right now. They may eventually come to fruition in a few years but none of them seem to be anywhere near close considering the "comeback" road boxing needs to get on for it's marquee fighters.

Linares is funny though where he says Garcia is playing online while he's training for a real fight, lol. I imagine Ryan talking trash to some 10 year olds in World of Warcraft, while Linares is pounding the heavy bag sweating his brains out, lol.

I get that social media can be a good way to hype up a possible fight. If that is all you resort to though then nobody will care the next time you cry wolf. Ryan needs to put up or shut up, the only people that follow his social media are the groupies and the females that find him attractive (men too I suppose in this day and age).

Unless Ryan is trying to prove that he can promote himself through social media and this way get out of his contract with GBP he needs to get back in the gym and work harder than his opponents because you can guarantee that someone out there is working tirelessly to make this kid look like a chump.

This is the difference between a champion and a diva. I wish Linares would have been booked to fight Garcia. Garcia is not ready for an experienced fighter like Linares this would have brought the kid back down to Earth.
