Unless porter receives written confirmation that the winner is WBC mandatory he should just save the sanctioning fees!

Why would Crawford waste his time....this guy is nowhere to b found in ESPN/Ring magazine rankings. Have never heard of the guy obviously bc most of his fights have been in Germany. Nothing but a stay busy fight for Porter.

He 'wasted his time' with Indongo for IBO Light welter. Don't see why this is any different.

No knock on Porter....has fought just about every top name at welterweight since 2013. Sure it wasn’t his choice to fight a unknown inferior “foreign fighter” who appears to have little power. Spence, Garcia, Thurman ...and now this guy? Stay busy cherry by Pbc. All the top welterweights are with Pbc - it’s well known Crawford has no big names to fight....and it appears Pbc would rather have a in-house round robin with their top welters - Garcia-Porter/Garcia-Thurman/Porter-Thurman/Porter-Garcia/Porter- Spence/Spence-Garcia/ ....wish Pbc would let at least one of them fight Crawford, who is ranked as the top welterweight and at or near the top p4p!

                    Haymon already allowed it:

Crawford ducked it. Haven't you been paying attention?
