Comments Thread For: Cheeseman: Eggington is Fragile at 154 - I'm Too Big, Too Strong

Ted Cheeseman has promised to use his size and strength to bully a 'fragile' Sam Eggington when they clash for the Stourbridge man's IBF International Super-Welterweight Title at the top of the bill on the opening weekend of Fight Camp on Saturday August 1, live on Sky Sports in the UK and DAZN in the US.

        it does make a difference.
It’s just under 5% more mass.

On average, the more a fighter weights the more durable they are and heavier the shots can be and stronger they are.

But obviously there’s many lighter fighters who hit harder and take shots better.

But it’s also tiring when your carrying extra weight yourself plus your opponent weights that bit more than your used too.

let’s just say the “junior” weight classes make it easier to jump up a weight class. It’s more inspiring to see a fighter go from lightweight to welter than junior welterweight.

I just thought almost every other fighter naturally blows up 15 to 20 lbs lol..

Didn't Mwakinyo just keep hitting him with the same punch over and over? Outside of fragility, Eggington needs to do something about his defense...
