  • Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman Tells Kell Brook To Send Contract; Eager For UK Fight

Keith Thurman is plotting his plan to return to boxing after nearly a one-year layoff. The American fighter said he is looking forward to a fight outside of domestic soil if there is a real deal for him. "Kell Brook is a great rival, and he's done a lot of great things in the welterweight division," Thurman PepTalkUK. "Send me the pounds, mate. Send me the pounds I'm all about contracts and all about opportunities.

If both men come to the fight fully prepared, I'd still give Brook the edge. Thurman seems to have some weaknesses... and not just to body shots. His speed and mental toughness seemed to have dropped a notch. Meanwhile, had Brook not broken both orbital bones in two separate fights, he'd likely be still cruising along at a higher level. Both men have had bad injuries to deal with. It will all come down to which one has moved on from them, and gotten their confidence back in greater measure.

Eh. Getting about as tired of Keef news as Whyte & Andrade news. All these mfers have had opportunity & passed on it. Now in the Covid19 era they trying to fight everyone. Bet if you send them a contract they'd be crying about the money, location or fooking something. Yawn at these mfers.

“[Brook is] not that active right now. I don’t know where his name stands now. But personally, there was a time and a place where I would have loved to take that fight. If there’s a real opportunity, show it to me, baby."

Wait what? Did Keith just describe himself?

Yeah, I hear you! I'm also getting tired of all the top boxers flapping their gums lately.
I wonder how many of them are actually serious and taking real measures (aka sit down with their promoter, the network, being reasonable in their demands, etc) order to make the fights happen?
The more I follow this boxing game, the more I realize that it seems like even top fighters don't have a clue of what their promoter have in store for them.

Oh, so now you want to go to the UK to fight Brook? Now that he's a Middleweight! How about going to fight Brook @ 154? "Once Upon a Time" is definitely on one! Thurman vs. Porter II! Run it back!

Ditto! Thurman should've fought Brook when he was the WBA Champ and Brook was the IBF Champ!

It would be a huge fight years ago. But Brook is not a welterweight any more. he would maybe drain him self for Crawford, not Thurman. Thurman has no belt and brings nothing.

Lol, this guy really doesn't want to give Porter that rematch. Pay what you owe, Keith.
