  • Comments Thread For: Khan: To Beat Fury, Joshua Has To Go in There and Go For The Kill!

Got Joshua in this style match up all day. Joshua is more like a diesel version of Wallin, nothing like Vlad and Wilder looking to land one right hand a round, which Fury is specialized in reading and avoiding. I could be wrong, don't see him winning rounds moving away from Joshua and in a box fight Joshua has a strong base unlike Wilder and is a good combo puncher with power in both hands while Fury lacks the hand speed of a Ruiz.

Joshua will get caught and put down if he tries, he doesn't take a shot well and the longer the fight goes the more tired he will get. Fury in 9 when Joshua quits from punishment and exhaustion.

Be very interesting if Joshua goes to the body early. Both Wladimir and Wilder haven't got a body shot between them but Joshua has. That thick waistline of Fury's is a much larger, less mobile target than his slick head movements and a challenge to cover up.

Not sure if it would be enough but Joshua has the power to slow anyone down by going to the body. The flipside would be him leaving himself open to counter head shots but he's got a solid enough inside game and we've never seen how Fury reacts to a sustained attack to the body by a quality opponent.

What a turn up it would be if? Anthony Joshua out boxed Tyson Fury.

Neutral on the fight, mainly just making things amusing for myself 'As I am not really a giant supporter of ether fighter'.

But as always I will pick a winner as the fight drawing closer etc

Joshua won't have a clue how to deal with Fury.

That’s literally the only chance AJ has; go straight at him and throw big combinations. Problem is, Fury will more than likely just tie him up with them orangutan arms of his, wait for the break and ping shots off his head at distance. I’ll be routing for AJ but realistically I see Fury winning on points. Regardless, it will be a hell of a lot more competitive than both Wilder fights put together.

Khan just wants to see Joshua get ko'd again so that the title of weakest chin in boxing can gain a new contender.
