  • Comments Thread For: Fury: Wilder Would Blast Out Joshua or Whyte in One Round!

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is standing firm that Deontay Wilder is the second best fighter in the heavyweight division. Fury and Wilder fought to a controversial twelve round split draw in December of 2018. In the February rematch, Fury stopped Wilder in seven rounds to capture the WBC title.

I don't think Joshua, but Whyte would definitely get KO'd. Joshua/Wilder would still be an intriguing fight, winner would be 2nd best HW of the era, Fury is easily thetop guy. He made Wilder look like a walk in the park and did the same to Wlad.

...I mean, Fury's not wrong. Especially since we recently watched Joshua avoid a short, obese opponent like the plague.

I think ,so maybe not 1 round but how is a fighter as flat footed and basic as Joshua or Whyte going to avoid wilders right hand?

They are tailor-made for Wilder really. And let’s not act like Joshua is some slick boxer because he could run away from Ruiz for 12 rounds, Wilder is taller than AJ and a longer reach.

I actually think Dillian would do better against Wilder than Joshua, even though I rate Joshua a bit higher because Dillian is more game and deceptively awkward with his style and arms. I think him being that game would get knocked out but also gives him some chance of winning, but really I think Wilder beats both comfortably, especially AJ.

Here come the Joshua groupies to defend his honor and act as if they know better than fury. Obviously the 1 round prediction is an exaggeration, but the ko wins are very possible.

One-trick Phony is irrelevant anyway. I'm much more interested in how quickly can Gypsy Boar blast them out, starting with Whyte ofc.

I agree with Fury on this one. Not everybody is 6'9" and 270 pounds with that kind of ability. Haters are still counting Wilder out but I dont see alot in the division capable of doing what Fury did.

If that’s the case Fury should stop ducking his mandatory in Whyte. He is clearly trying to hype up his win over Wilder.

Wilder was a 1 trick pony that skipped good opposition and lost both times he tried to cherry pick after he almost lost to a 45 year old with heart problems

I always favored AJ over Wilder because of skills and he showed that he can adjust and also has power. But Wilder's right is legit and is there for 12 rounds.
