The 29-year old from Australia suffered the unkindest of American debuts, enduring his first career defeat and the end of his brief secondary title reign in a grueling 12-round loss to Joshua Franco. Their ESPN-televised bout-which aired Tuesday evening live from MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas-left Moloney dizzy and nauseous which earned him a trip to nearby University Medical Center where he was held for observation before being released overnight.
