Comments Thread For: Emanuel Navarrete Aims To Win Titles in Two More Weight Divisions

Emanuel Navarrete, the WBO's 122-pound would champion, came on the scene in a serious way when he upset Isaac Dogboe in December 2018. In the rematch, five months later, Navarrete stopped Dogboe in eleven rounds to show that his first win was no fluke.

Long as he stays away from Shakur Stevenson he'll win a belt.

Gary Russell jr. is arguably the most difficult opponent for Navarrete, due to Russells great defense and lightning fast hands. Toprank's Mick Conlan is expected to fight for the WBO 126 vacant title after Shakur Stevenson vacates, Conlan is another tough style for the Gunslinger. Great challenges await!

Navarrete has been a complete flop since he won the title. Fighters like Miguel Berchelt, Ray Vargas, and Oscar Valdez have fought a murderers row by comparison in their title fights to the crap Navarrete has fought. Even guys in the same division like Daniel Roman and Ronny Rios have fought better opponents than Navarrete has fought. And now he is fighting a guy with a .500 record with 13 losses! Inexcusable.

Sucks because he's clearly much better than the level of opposition he's been fighting

                    That's fair.

But he's still fighting often and dominating.
