Bob Arum's promotional company is moving swiftly to reschedule the Jose Pedraza-Mikkel LesPierre main event that was postponed Thursday morning. Pedraza and LesPierre were supposed to meet in the headliner of ESPN's six-fight show Thursday night at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. The Nevada State Athletic Commission scrapped the fight Thursday morning because LesPierre's manager, Josie Taveras, tested positive for COVID-19.

I want nothing but good health for the fighters envolved in these ESPN cards. I want nothing but good health for anyone in the USA in reguards to this COVID mess. The people on the front lines of this Pandemic are at risk talking Food Store workers Retail stores workers all of them are having to deal with added stress and risk. So in boxing just as in retail this is all a test. A test to see how it will work out. Simple as that, no way around it. It just brings back how ghoulish I feel when I watch fights sometimes recently. Not a public saftey anoucement just a flash of reality when this stuff gets posted. And no I am not one who feels I should fall down and praise the powers that be who are putting fights out there. I do feel for those who work the low pay jobs as I mentioned who dont even get simple testing. Enough from me.

In part annoy me that fights I like to see in these boxing card fall out for the result of the test, but as a human being I understand the situation and feel empathy to all boxers who need money quickly to survive, including love ones.
