I swear Usyk has been number 1 now for like TWO years? Or am i wrong? Have said this before and i would say it again. Let Fury go out there and beat Wilder and Whyte, let Joshua go out there and beat Pulev and Usyk. If they are both good as their ranking then it would be those two who would be the last men standing. Then they can both fight for the undisputed in summer 2021, all that rubbish about "Belts don't make me" is just excuses.

The issue is that the money men have seen AJ and Wilder lose. They need Fury v AJ now to cash in.

Of course though, the final fight once the dust settles between Wilder, Fury, AJ, Whyte, Pulev and Usyk would still be worth a lot.

No, the issue is if those guys fight two interim fights then Hrgovic, Dubois and God knows who else will be ranked #1 and it'll be "right fight them first"

No, you go to the money fight now, Unification trump's mandatories so the peasents can sit their asses down as they don't dictate to the Kings, period.

I agree but also disagree, and there’s a predicament at HW atm.

First, I would like to see AJ defend against Pulev and I also want to see AJ defend against Usyk. I think AJ wins both fights tbh.

However, Usyk’s team knows that AJ can go for unification after Pulev, and the WBO will rule AJ’s demands over Usyk. Usyk’s team knows this and means they have to wait out longer while having to stay busy and take another fight. Call me crazy but I think Usyk’s handlers are very very nervous atm should Usyk lose to anybody before facing AJ, for financial losses obviously.

Then we’ve got Fury who if becomes Franchise Champ means he’s technically irrelevant and Whyte would open doors for other Matchroom openings until Hearn can make another AJ vs Whyte rematch.

Everyone wants the highest monetization. That’s understood, but we need to be very wary that even “Undisputed” in 2021 with AJ vs Fury might not even be, and again, if Fury doesn’t have a title while handling it to Whyte he can’t be considered a Champion just like Canelo isn’t the current WBC Champion.

I would just filter down to 1 fight instead of TWO. Meaning Fury get Wilder out of the way, if he can, and AJ get Pulev out of the way and we get final Undisputed assuming Fury still holds the WBC.

Usyk is another of those guys in his mid 30s who uses a young man's style, he's not a Holyfield who went up to heavyweight in his 20s and had time in his side, Usyk basically has to go for it NOW.

sadly that's not an option though and he won't get a shot till probably 2022 so oh well sucks for him.

I don't blame Usyk because he's just using WBO rules to his favor. He's not doing anything wrong here.
I also know Usyk isn't ready for a fight against any top dogs, including the chinny chin AJ. Seeing him look terrible against a formerly retired, last minute replacement, middle-aged man showed me that. That was a terrible performance. Usyk isn't ready. But he also isn't young. He needs these fights sooner rather than later. And also more than likely loses to a lot more than just Wilder, Fury, Aj, or Ortiz. This seems like a an act of desperation here: a call my bluff moment.
WBC should re-instate Ortiz as a final eliminator just to ***** with bum whyte again. I mean it would finally give him a plausible argument in his lawsuit because as of now he gets laughed out the courtroom and then fined twice for being an idiot and mistaken identity as the judge wouldn't know who he was lol

Not necessarily. Usyk, under Matchroom, has good radar for various title shots.

In fact I think Hearn doesn’t care about Fury’s position should he vacate the WBC. It makes Matchroom business 1000% better. If Whyte becomes WBC Champ, the whole Matchroom stable could be reformatted, again, for monetization. I’d say Whyte poses the biggest threat for AJ.. maybe. So, Hearn could give Usyk a shot at Whyte if Fury vacates. This is good for Matchroom business. Though through the new matchmaking and as time passes we have to deal with Haymon’s dumbass with Charles Martin bothering with IBF mandates. We know that.

However we need clarity. Didn’t Hunter say he wanted an IBF Eliminator with Martin for AJ’s belt? I thought Martin already cleared that by beating Washington? Point is, if the case is that Martin needs another “eliminator” then how about Usyk getting That spot? Risky for Usyk, but that’s part of the game. And yet AJ still gotta handle Pulev.
