Comments Thread For: Fury Became Eager To KO Wilder After His Comments on Mike Tyson

Tyson Fury was inspired to fight, and stop, Deontay Wilder - after the big puncher made statements about blasting out Mike Tyson. Fury's father named him after the retired heavyweight great. After his shocker over Wladimir Klitschko in November of 2015, Fury gained a lot of weight as he fought depression and substance abuse issues.

Losing for someone with an ego bigger than the Nou camp stadium in Barcelona is crushing...Wilder is somewhere reflecting and cursing the day Finkle suggested he cherry picked Fury.
Finkle: come on champ, it would be like taking a candy from a baby, he (Fury) is over 400 pounds for Christ sakes, we need to add the name Fury on your resume champ...

We all know how that panned out.

I remember Wilder deciding to face Fury after Fury fought Safari and the "fight" was a total farce, with Fury looking a complete mess.

I said then it was one of the most cynical, opportunist cherry picks I could remember.

      And then he LOST

Couldn't run a mile without stopping? Shows how far back h ed gone. I never realised you can comeback so fast from that.
Certainly didn't think you could reach the peak and be the best version you'd been beforehand.
I can't believe fury is better now than the one who beat wlad

Yeah, even the doting John Fury advised Tyson not to take the Wilder 1st fight. He mentioned Tyson’s isn’t ready yet and was in very bad shape, the tune up fights leading to the Wilder first fight was below par by Fury, that must have given Wilder a false sense of invisibility, Wilder got suckered in...and paid the price. Without Fury, Wilder would have kept the WBC belt hostage with plans to reach 50-0 with WBC, Al haymon and Finkle in bed together.

            Levels.

Fat and out of shape and still runs half a mile vs. Skinny and in shape and struggles to walk 50m to the ring.

            Levels.

Fury talking about everything, every day...except steroids. I wonder when he will mention that? Oh yeah, that's right, never.

That's because nobody gives a s*** about it Tyrone.

Fury served his ban and is a clean fighter. Cry about steroids all you want, it won't change the fact that Fury demolished your hero.

Same reason Evan Fields, Roid Jones, and Clenelo don't.
