Comments Thread For: Fury-Joshua Showdown Not Likely To Happen in UK, Says Hearn

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, says the 2021 unification with WBC champion Tyson Fury is unlikely to take place on UK soil. The fight, which is arguably the biggest fight in the sport, will be pursued by groups in numerous countries.

Getting a little tired of Hearn always putting the responsibility of the destination on to the fighters, as if he's not got a vested interest.

What he fails to say is his fixed % will obviously be a bigger number too, hence why he's like a rat up a drainpipe playing interested hosts off each other.

'But it's all for the fighters, let them make their money - who am I to say otherwise?' Turn it in Edward.

We know it won't be in England for obvious reasons that stand as they are..

That is perfect news for Edward who will then pimp a deal backwards and forwards to interested parties.

It will be bought by the masses who want to see one of the biggest fight between 2 Brits and Edward knows that.. he will build and sparkle it up like no other..

For me, it will be watched but I don't think the connection and feeling would be the same as it would be if staged somewhere in England like Wembley.

Why? This is bigger than the UK, it's the biggest fight in boxing. It should be in the US, Macau, or Australia.

Huh??? Yeah, like all the other huge fights that have taken place in those 2 countries. Macao has such a long history of putting on the biggest boxing fights in the world.

Boxing is all about the greens you knucklehead anti Hearn ldiots. He is in business to make profit cvnts not charity.

You ldiots should give me one reason why they should take less money and have the fight in UK when a country like the Sauds or China can triple it? It’s a massive opportunity to make the most money, if you simpletons where in their shoes you would also grab the money...and besides can Fury still fight in the UK?

What is wrong with that? Do you want take the job and make the boxers earn tens of millions for free?

Or are you just hating for the sake of it?
