Comments Thread For: Fury Hints He'd Drop WBC Title, Not Interested in Fighting Whyte

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has made it clear that he will not be forced by the World Boxing Council, or anyone else, to make a mandatory defense against Dillian Whyte. Pursuant to a WBC order, Whyte is owed a mandatory shot at the title by February 2021.

Fury is the kind of guy that he needs to be pursuing a challenge/goal in order to remain motivated. He always said that his motivation before used to be beating Klitchko and once he did, he fell off a cliff emotionally. Wilder sparked up that fire in him again as will Joshua. He's not getting motivated for somebody like Whyte. Fury is going to beat Joshua and then retire.

But apart from Wlad and the one trick pony Windmill a.k.a Wilder he has been well motivated to fight taxidrivers and gatekeepers but he can't be motivated to fight a mandotary?

It's quite obvious that Fury is nothing but con artist.

Dillian Whyte vs Luis Ortiz. If Whyte gets stopped by Ortiz
after mocking his age he should be forced to retire.

There's 3 guys. They all need to fight each other.
                  Simple stuff.
AJ vs Fury then Wilder fights the winner.
The rest of them do not matter. F em.

It is not enough that we have WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, etc now it is "full champion" and "franchise champion" why not "quarter champion" and "half champion" or "top Of The Mountain Champion" etc Heavyweight Champion used to mean something, being a top 5 heavyweight contender used mean something, now it is just a joke.
