  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Explains: Joshua's Speech Edited Out of Context, Words Misinterpreted

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, says his boxer was 'upset' by some of the accusations in the aftermath of a speech at a recent Black Lives Matter march in Watford, England.

Damage limitation for Joshua now. Can’t convince people he didnt say what he said, so try to intimate that his words were out of context. Don’t think so Eddie. Joshua feel same about taking white working class peoples hard earned money paid for his ppv’s? Didn’t think so. Want Fury to smash him more than i wanted to in the first place now. When you’re from the struggle, you are in it together and we know its about class not race. Smash him Tyson..

This is exactly the reason they went out yesterday with that press release about nothing. They had to distract the media with something.
According to Hearn, now everybody is racist except Joshua. I will say this. You can't come into my house and start accusing me of being racist. Europe already has enough real problems and divisions. No need to bring this American racial BS too cuz there's no comparison btw America and Europe when it comes to racism.
Btw, isn't it interesting that 100 years ago, it was a white American who was all about the color of the skin and segregation? Today, are black Americans!

This is an example of how Joshua is a tool used for people to be racist against black Americans. So you say black Americans are in favor of segregation 🤦🏽*♂️ Nope! Black Americans are in favor of racial equality and anti police brutality. So stop trying to deflect from the real subject which is to end white supremacy and racial injustice.

No, the controversy is actually going to make the fight bigger. And you must be 15 to think the UK and Europe haven't been as racist as America. White Americans didn't just fall from the sky - they're European migrants that took racism with them to the Americas. Racism is just more open in America than in Europe because of its history.

At least, Americans don't do monkey chants at footy games like they do in Europe. And the monkey chants at footy games actually started in the UK.

Racism is a virus and a lot of people are carriers without knowing. Denial doesn't mean you're not infected. Check yourself and be progressive to make the world a better place.

No one is using him. Wilder. The inferiority stems from Wilder having low self-esteem about someone who looks like him being more articulate and intelligent than he's.

A lot of Northern England chavs who're from dirt poor working class backgrounds also can't stand Josh because he's not as obnoxious as they're and he doesn't engage in the drugs/alcohol social disorder lifestyle they live.

It's not always black vs white. Sometimes, it's about class. Josh is from a working class background with a single parent but he doesn't carry himself like one.

Wow, the monkey chants. That's so horrible. That's really horrible. That's super horrible. Let's go everybody on a street and protest and destroy everything.
People commit crimes, traffic offenses... but that doesn't make us go into some hyperventilation and mass protests. Levels of the importance of the issues. And racism is definitely NOT among the top 10 issues each country is facing.
This *** hysteria will only cause additional divisions. It already does.
