Comments Thread For: Robeisy Ramirez Floors Yeuri Andujar Twice, Knocks Him Out In First Round

Robeisy Ramirez impressively continued his comeback Tuesday night from a shocking loss in his professional debut. Ramirez knocked down Yeuri Andujar twice within the first minute of their scheduled six-round featherweight fight and knocked him out in the first round at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. The 26-year-old Ramirez, a two-time Olympic gold medalist from Cuba, won his third straight fight since Adan Gonzales beat him by split decision in his pro debut, four-rounder August 10 in Philadelphia.

Yes. He’s expected to make short work of these guys. Partly why that first loss was such a shocker. Hopefully the marriage with coach Salas is a long and happy one.

This kid has got it, a bit more fine tuning and experience and he’ll be world champ!

          Definitly

As long as he stays focus and hungry he’ll be a force.

I'm still a believer of Ramirez hype train. Ismael Salas is the best fit for him, now he's getting real training and sparring.

Don't forget that there are two world champions that Ramirez beat.

I think Robeisy's first loss is due to him not having a clear picture of what pro-boxing in the USA feels like.
Now he knows and hopefully he makes the mindset adjustment.

I knew the first fight was just a bad outing and Ramirez regrouped and looks great now going forward. Was a fan and is a fan.
