  • Comments Thread For: Jose Ramirez Considers Close Win Over Jose Zepeda Worst Performance Of Career

Zepeda appears deserving of a second shot at Ramirez based on the outcome of their 140-pound title fight 15 months ago near Ramirez's hometown. Though a big underdog, the unheralded Zepeda pushed Ramirez in that 12-round fight at Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California.

Zepeda won that fight but I’m also ok with Ramirez gettin the win since the last few rounds he was giving up due to being tired!

140 is a burning hot division and if Lopez and Haney moves up, it will make it a great division!

Looking forward to Ramirez-Postol finally and Baranchyk-Zepeda, both good fights!

Zepeda's probably won that fight, but i'd favor Baranchyk against Zepeda, too much pressure, Baranchyk's physicality is on another level

I had it Zepada 115-1113 if I remember correctly but felt a draw would have been just fine. The Ramierez win felt a little home town-ish.

He didn’t win that fight. Zepeda deserved to be world champ. If they wanted him to keep the belt they should of scored it a draw and gave Zepeda a rematch at worst.

daggum says people only speak positively of Zepeda because he beat Pedraza.

Completely oblivious to his performance against Jose Ramirez.
