I don't think boxing will be coming back to America for a LONG time. Here's why......

Not only boxing, but I don't think ANY sports are coming back anytime soon......

So I was on my sofa at 4am quietly sitting in the dark sippin on a 40oz while watching some old reruns (specifically Bowe-Holyfield 1) and it hit me.

Sports in America wont be coming back to America for a very long time.

Look at everything that's going on. The coronavirus, people are laid off, the protests, the rioting. Trump had to go to an underground bunker due to the civil unrest, Americans wont be getting a second stimulus check etc.

Now lets fast forward in time a little bit.

What happens when peoples unemployment runs out? People are not working at all and there is no job in sight because they have become very scarce as many businesses are now bankrupt.

Millions of Americans have fallen behind on their mortgage payments due to being laid off and have a choice between paying their mortgage or feeding their family. What will happen when they are forced out of their homes?

Doesn't look like there will be a second stimulus check. People were barely getting by with the first one. How are they going to get by without a second one?

The rioting and protesting is getting worse. Businesses are being torched and property is being destroyed. Not going to be cleaned up anytime soon.

Hate to say it, but boxing and all other sports aren't coming back anytime soon.

The networks stand to lose too much more revenue. We're talking billions of dollars. They won't be sitting out all of 2020. We'll get games without live fans or far fewer fans in the audience, but I can't see all major league sports, to include boxing, taking off the remainder of 2020.

Doubt it, too much money behind on viewership since everyone will be at home bored out of their minds!

This is the opportunity to build stars through viewership!
