I never claimed that Schwartz was anything special, but we both know that boxing is a business and Fury had just signed with Top Rank and was being introduced to America. Fighting taller fighters made sense seeing as how he was going to be rematching Wilder.Fury ducked Rivas and the excuse was because he wanted to fight taller fighters.
Tyson Fury had the chance to take on Dillian Whyte's July 20 opponent, Oscar Rivas, before he opted to fight Tom Schwarz
Oh, OK so when Wilder beats Ortiz it's a fantastic win because Ortiz has such a great resume. Erm, his best win is Bryant Jennings.
So Rivas is a bum but Wallin is credible? Wallin's best win was against Adrian Granat but somehow he is this dangerous unbeaten prospect like Tom Schwartz was? The only thing that made them dangerous was that they were facing Tyson Fury. They may as well have been Mark de More and Arnold Gjergjaj.
Fury will be at a psychological deficit against Whyte as he knows that Whyte can and has hurt him many times in the past. People that say sparring doesn't matter are clueless. Tyson puts a huge amount of emphasis on an imaginary battle in the sauna against Klitschko and will know that Whyte has his number and he will not be able to intimidate him or win the psychological battle he lost years ago.
Whyte will pressure Fury and will hurt him with body shots and stop him in the middle rounds.
Wallin clearly passes the eye test and comparing him to the likes of Gjergjaj is laughable
Sparring doesn't mean anything, AJ has been knocked out in sparring by loads of people, but he still left Whyte asleep on the canvas.
Fury and Whyte sparred many years ago, and both fighters have improved since then, Fury far more so.
Styles make fights and Whyte is made for Fury, he would get the Chisora treatment and get his face jabbed to bits. Whyte has no defence and basic footwork, the Gypsy King would make him look like a complete mug.Comment

the Gypsy King. Oh dear, it reminds me of a song from many years ago. "I got your picture on me wall, got your name upon me scarf, it's horrible being in love, it's horrible being in love when you're eight and a half!"

Mate, say what you want about Wilder but he was an unbeaten 5yr champion who had knocked out every one put in front of him, tied for title defences with Ali.
Fair enough if you think Whyte would beat him, personally I don't because Whyte has no defence and Wilder would detonate on him, but saying that Lucas Browne would beat him is just being ******.Comment
