Comments Thread For: Jeison Rosario: I Don't Have Any Problem Making 154 And Plan To Stay Here

Given his physical dimensions, Jeison Rosario is as close as they come in the sport today to a prototypical junior middleweight. The reigning unified 154-pound titlist is in the same position as nearly everyone else in boxing, awaiting marching orders for his next ring appearance once the sport as a whole can resume at full strength. Whenever that day comes, there's no question that it will take place at his current weight-even with the allure of far bigger paydays to be made one division north at middleweight.

Hell he's only just become champion so I hope he doesn't struggle to make the weight already.

Good to hear and as well he’s still hungry for more!

Him vs Jermell is a cracking fight, someone is likely touching the canvass in that one!

Charlo will be facing the hardest hitter of his career!

One of the hardest punchers maybe but I wouldn't say the hardest hitting one just because he did a demolition job on J-Rock ever since I saw Williams get almost knocked out with a jab I didn't rate his durability too high.

I think John Jackson is a harder puncher than Rosario and he handled his power pretty well. I also think Harrisons power is on the same level as Rosarios.

This is the fight at 154. Throw Lubin vs Harrison on the under card. 🥊

Yeah unfortunately for J rock, he’s good in all areas, speed, decent power, footwork, head movement, jab, counters, stamina and body work but his defense and chin plus recovery isn’t that good!

I think Rosario hits harder than Jackson and Harrison, I think both guys hit the deck if they fight but I still see Charlo pulling out the victory, it seems the lost has made him more hungrier. Possibly more than Rosario and that might be the difference, who wants it more!

I like thay both guys are looking at each other and trying to get their next fight to be the unification fight.

No more delays. We need a unfied, undisputed champ at 154lbs.

I think whoever wins between the two, provided it isn't a controversial decision Victort (robbery), will become a super star.

This corona pandemic has massively effected the sport, so along with Fury/Joshua, Taylor/Ramirez, Inoue/Nery & the lightweights(Loma/Lopez,Garcia/Davis + welters(Thurman/Pacman/Crawford & Spence) sorting out who's #1 in there divisions Rosario Vs Charlo is just what the Dr ordered!

I don't think Nery vs Inoue is a reality anymore Nery had too many chances to prove he could make 118 and failed each time.
