Comments Thread For: Daniel Jacobs: Caleb Plant Has A Lot Of Flaws; He Hasn't Been Tested

Daniel Jacobs has altered his rankings of super middleweight champions. After more consideration, the former IBF/WBA middleweight champ has listed WBO title-holder Billy Joe Saunders last among boxing's four super middleweight champions. Jacobs initially called Caleb Plant the most beatable of those four champions during an Instagram Live interview with promoter Eddie Hearn late in March.

I think Plant beats Jacob's unless Jacob's can come out of his comfort zone and actually put on a show. He has a tendency to hold back and I think Plant would capitalize on that. Just my opinion though.

That would be quite a coming out party were he to beat Jacobs since outside of Uzi, Caleb has fought nothing but cab drivers. It's definitely past time for him to step it up.

I agree he still has alot to prove but Jacob's has been a different fighter lately. He has the goods I think but holds back too much.

All of you boys remind me of that Silent Bob movie or whatever it's called..

Where the dude shows up at the guys house and reads off his posts and cracks him in the face.

Close to 100% of you have never even been in a boxing gym before, and are calling professional fighters 'bums' and 'cab drivers'.

          I find the **** hilarious.

            I agree.
Plant can only fight who's in front of him.
I consider Plant the best of the crop; the dark horse.
And ain't none of them afraid to fight.
I briefly boxed & I coached amateur fighters for years.
I tell my coworkers who laugh when I tell them I can drop them.
3 minutes of moving, punching, and having to react is physically exhausting.
Even the sorriest boxer in history would probably whip my ass.
That's why I give credit to any man with the balls to step through the ropes.

I fought the top ranked guy in my weight class and it was definitely a tough fight. I never got the chance to see him again but Plant beat him in a close decision a couple of months later.

Listening to the boys on this forum is hilarious.
