  • Comments Thread For: Eubank Jr: I Have Plenty More Opportunities To Make A Big Statement

Chris Eubank Jr. isn't entirely certain of his next opponent but has guaranteed a far better showing than his last one in front of an American viewing audience. The second-generation boxer barely revved up the engine before his United States debut, which came versus Matvey Korobov last December at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Eubank Jr. was awarded a dissatisfying 2nd round stoppage win when Russia's Korobov (28-3-1. 14KOs) was unable to continue after suffering multiple tears to his left labrum.

Personally think he needs to get a move on. Can't see him being picked as a voluntary so will have to get and remain active to earn a mandate.

That will take time, then there's the shot itself requiring more time. He's 30 already so less talking and more doing. Hope RJJ gets that jab sorted and defence tightened.

That freak injury might have been a lucky break for eubank. It would have interesting to see if he was able to do better against korobov than charlo.

He would never be his own man, he met RJJ got his number and all of that, when the time came to reach RJJ, he got his father to do it on his behalf.

His father was controlling him his whole life , i guess its hard for them to split but Senior should make first move and leave his son alone , idk if his ego let him doe ,idk if its only his media persona or his like that every day.

I think they are both using each other to stay relevant.
