  • Comments Thread For: Fury: I Won't Pay Wilder Step-Aside Fee - I'd Rather Batter Him!

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has no interest in paying Deontay Wilder a step-aside fee. Over the last few months, there has been a lot of chatter regarding a scenario where Fury pays Wilder a step-aside fee in order to go directly to a full division unification with WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO champion Anthony Joshua.

"and then we’re going to go into 2021 with the biggest fight in boxing history between two undefeated British heavyweights, me and AJ, and we’re going to battle it out for all the gold."

      AJ is undefeated.... WHO KNEW!!!

The "Chatter" of pay offs is media speculation fueled by asking ex fighters, current fighters and so called experts what they think of the speculation of a pay off. They've made the story up, they've ran the story and made a fortune on click bait...

Worked a treat for the media outlets..

In regards to Fury response. It's only a huge fight if you both hold the belts....

Yes, I don't think step aside money has ever been mentioned by Wilders side.

Smart choice. Why let someone else have the pleasure of finishing Wilder's career. If Fury let's someone else finish Wilder that guy will just pound his chest and act like the physical and psychological beating Fury gave Wilder had nothing to do with it.

With this confidence from fury, wilder might actually think step aside money is good op tion. He'd take 1 million.
