Why isnt Andy Ruiz the hardest hitting Boxer in division?

He has the fastest hands in his division plus he has the most weight why doesn't he hit the hardest amongst the heavyweights ?

Maybe he does, I actually think the shots he hit Joshua with actually only grazed him. Where they solid shots?

Because punching power cant be reduced to speed and weight only. Its more factors to it.

          Kinematic chains really.

He negates some of his potential energy by fighting at short distances. If he launched himself from farther back to come in all at once, it'd be reckless, but then his speed and weight would probably make him the hardest hitter.

I guess Baby Miller who's been 300+ for his last fights should be one of the biggest puncher in the history of the sport. Punch hard is a gift, a natural talent. Weight, height, reach, muscular, fat, skinny...etc none of that matters. If you can punch, you can punch.

Who says Andy Ruiz isn't the hardest hitter?

                Just ask Joshua.

Hand speed and body weight are only part of the equation. What really matters is how much of your body weight you can get behind your fist at the moment of impact. Turning the punch over as it connects to stiffen the wrist and forearm and drive your body weight through the target increases power

Some fighters generate power with their legs and core muscles by sitting down on punches and/or jumping in with them. Pacquiao and Prince Naseem are good examples of how that works. Another great example is the left hook that Frazier floored Ali with in their first fight.

He gives up some of his power just for the sake of quickness. Besides that, he only has the muscle mass of a 215/220 pound fighter, strength is a factor also.
