The story of how Miguel Cotto saved Floyd Mayweather Jr's career/life

The truth is, Floyd Mayweather Jr was ready to hop in the ring with Manny Pacquiao in 2009 with NO random blood testing....... for the biggest showdown in boxing history.

And then Pacquiao vs Cotto happened. The things that happened in that fight seemed strange to the trained eyes of both Floyd Jr and his father Floyd Sr.

After witnessing what Pacquiao did to Cotto, Floyd and his father decided to demand that Pacquiao undergo random drug testing in their negotiations, which Pacquiao then turned down.

    Surprise Surprise.

As a result, Pacquiao-Mayweather didn't happen for many years, during which many things changed.

But, if Pacquiao vs Cotto had never happened, Floyd would have got in the ring with a Prime Pacroid in 2010 with no random testing.

Not only was there a real chance that Floyd would have lost the Fight of the Century and be humiliated forever by his detractors and the Pactarts, there was also a chance he could have gotten seriously damaged/career ended- like Cotto and Hatton.

But thanks to Miguel Cotto, the roles were reversed, and Manny Pacroid ended up losing the Fight of the Century.

While Mayweather's legacy and health- intact.

    THE END.

I actually think Mayweather as a fighter had slipped more than Pacquiao by the time they finally faced off etc

I'd take the Floyd that fought Mosley over the Pac that fought Cotto any day of the week

It's true that Pac's performance against Cotto really bothered Floyd Sr. I actually think part of the reason Floyd decided to fight Cotto was to see how it would feel and how much he could hurt him in light of the Pacquiao fight.

This is more fraud talk to protect fraudweather. Fraudweather never had any intention of fighting Pacquiao, the secret plan was to duck Pac forever and pretend to want the fight but find reasons to block it every time. Fraudweather was successful doing this for seven years until he was finally forced into the fight by Showtime CBS boss Les Moonves.
