  • Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: We All Know Joshua is A-Side, But Fury is No. 1 at Weight

Former world champion Amir Khan is backing Anthony Joshua as the "A-side" of the unification equation when compared to heavyweight rival Tyson Fury. "You've got the heavyweight division at its best right now. It's the best it's going to be. In my opinion, it's the best division out there at this time. We've not had it like this for a long time. There's AJ, the world champion, Fury the new world champion, beating Deontay Wilder. Wilder, who seemed untouchable," Khan told Sky Sports.

Khan is wrong. Fury has beaten one top-20 boxer in 5 years. If he was that great he wouldn't have even been fighting all those guys outside the top-20.

Fury struggles against people who can box who are big. Styles make fights. David Price outboxed Fury in the amateurs....

Probably why Khan's boxing career suck. Cause he was too worried about a-side, b-side instead of his boxing.

Maybe he is still the A in england probably, but globally it is Fury.

Khan only feels this because AJ plowed his wife. Lol, jokes aside I don't think it matters in this fight because both guys are huge in the UK.

If this question were decided by the British public, Anthony Joshua is the UK's beloved and respected champion, granted hes as fake as Tyson Fury.

Say what you want about Joshua, but at least he has never been caught doing steroids or lost his British boxing licence. A.J fights for the UK, Tyson hates the Brits and wants to be American soo bad.

I don't think Fury hates Brits or wants to be American so bad. He's about the fame and fortune and nobody goes to Leeds, or Sheffield, looking for either. Fury became a megastar in Las Vegas, bigger than AJ on a world stage. Not some musty museum in the UK.
