  • Comments Thread For: Whyte: Joshua's Avoiding Rematch With Me, Fooling Public With Fake Excuses

Dillian Whyte doesn't believe Anthony Joshua had any intention of fighting him again last April. As much as Joshua and their promoter, Eddie Hearn, discussed the possibility of a rematch with Whyte, the brash British contender dismissed it as a publicity ploy. Whyte feels Joshua intended to make his U.S. debut against Jarrell Miller all along.

Who are 'THEY', I thought Eddie Hearn promoted both of you?

Didn’t Whyte turn down a career high payday last April? He’s admitted they offered it

Moans he can’t get a title shot, yet turns down a career high payday to fight for 3 of the belts. Sometimes you just have to accept you really have no power at negotiating table and take your opportunity if you believe you can win. After all, it was still a career high payday. Whyte had no belts, nowhere near the profile of AJ and lost by KO when they fought.

Not sure what he wants. Maybe he remembers being flattened by AJ the first time and lacked the belief to take the opportunity again.

Hell yh after you got flattened like a plank.

The rematch we should be talking about is Whyte vs Parker. That was a close fight that could’ve gone either way. Parker would’ve beaten him if had let his hands go early.

That would make too much sense !!! We can't forget that all whytes yapping is via " dillian logic." He deserves a rematch of a fight where he got stretched nearly 5 years ago , but Parker doesn't deserve another shot at him after a highly controversial fight that was less than 2 years ago .

If you reversed him and parkers roles in the outcome of their fight in 2018 whyte would have had a fuuking hernia by now from crying foul .

He is becoming another Amir Khan. He should had taken the deal when Miller tested positive.

Whyte is on crack. Just look at his shifted and that would give you an inkling on what he’s up to. This lunatic that’s never been a champion even ranked himself as no. 2 HW behind Fury, lol.

I don’t even think he’ll last 5 rds in the ring with Josh this time. I’d even pick Parker to beat him.

Eddie Hearn stays using the poor lad as a workhorse and he has 4-5 fights left before he becomes permanently shot.
