How can anyone say SRR is the best Welterweight of all time when......

...there isn't any full fight footage of his bouts as a welterweight?

How does anyone truly know how good he and his opposition were at 147?

So in other words, you base your opinions on other people's opinions. How do you truly know how good he and his opposition were?

How do you know he's as good as today's welterweights?

Their is plenty of full fight footage, just because its not readily available doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

With that being said I don't think he is the great WW of all time either, Then again I'm of the belief that those boxers are from a different era and you can't rank them with modern fighters.

He did beat Kid Gavilan decisively and went on to have a successful Middleweight career.
That time, only Mickey Walker was able to win both WW and MW title

theres footage of fighters Robinson beat though.....henry armstrong, Kid Gavilan is an all time great welter and he beat him twice before the keed won the title himself when Robinson moved up, tommy bell

there not being footage of robinson is a myth and it exists.....this the information age all you have to do is look

he fought sammy angott former lightweight champion a few times at welter and there is footage

if you want to know something you actually have to do research and not go off what other people say

In fairness, everyone’s opinion of who’s the greatest is influenced by other people’s opinions. Those people are called historians, writers etc and are usually the ones who scribe such lists or vote on who enters the hof and all that. Now, who’s opinion do you think people are going to take more seriously, theirs, or some internet troll named mcdonalds? Lol

How can anyone call him the greatest welterweight of all time when you don't even know how good he was?

How could anyone take you seriously when you haven't even seen him fight at 147 before?
