Can a fighter get discipline from a trainer? Doesn't that come from within? Any thoughts?

I certainly think a trainer can guide you to your goal
But without doubt , at a certain point it’s on you

Ruiz just doesn't have it on the Joshua two faceoff aj was sulking, with Ruiz hands around his soul, and instead of calling aj a quitter he smiled and encourage and tried to give aj some confidence...that there showed me he ain't no killer, he has no dog in him...then this clown lies like he's in the best shape of his life cons us for our money and then don't even train....pure clown and accidental champion, don't want to see him on my TV no more

Unforgettable moment when he became champion. Very hard to fathom the reality that he will go back to being as hungry as he once was. I mean literally if anything he will be back purely because he is running out of cash and not for the hunger he once felt.

I agree. But a trainer and a environment can certainly help. That’s a pretty stacked up team with a lot of high character fighters. Ruiz can benefit from being around guys with fire in their bellies. It will be interesting to see where he goes from here. A string of good wins can put him right there by the end of next year. Maybe Arreola, then Martin, then whyte.

What Ruiz really needs is to hire a strength coach and a dietician/chef to prepare all his meals for 10 week training camps. And he needs isolation from the world while training. He had a weight problem....he can’t weight to eat...

Oh yeah I can see it now. AJ scared of a guy that he just pitched a shut out against hahahh. This fat turd Ruiz only got with that trainer because of Canelo. He is clout chasing and it will backfire as soon as the trainer wants Ruiz to do some laps hahah. You guys keep having faiht in this fat turd, but he only has faith in taco trucks. He had his one day in the sun and now it's over, and he will never be anything close to a champion again. EVER. Get that already
