  • Comments Thread For: Arum: Looking Forward to Fury-Pulev, Once Pulev Knocks Joshua Out

Bob Arum remains supremely confident of having full reign of the heavyweight division the moment boxing returns at full strength. The Hall of Fame promoter's Top Rank outfit represents two-time and reigning lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21KOs), who cemented his place atop the division following a 7th round knockout of Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41KOs) in their celebrated rematch this past February. Also under the promotional banner is former title challenger and current top-rated contender Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14KOs), who is due to challenge two-time and current unified heavyweight titlist Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21KOs).

Bob would keep the undisputed title in house for decades.

    Surely AJ beats Pulev though...

If AJ can't beat Pulev in impressive fashion he should just retire.

Having said that I think he will

If Ruiz can beat up the weight lifter surely Pulev has a shot. What are the odds? If it’s 25-1 or 20-1 Pulev but some coin on Kubrat lol AJ has show that he can be beat by anybody

Can see Pulev coming out very aggressive and highly likely gets flopped in the process.

Joshua can run, box, jab his way to a decision, and likely will employ that strategy. He knows the money on the line and would rather keep the money train rolling than fight aggressively. Can’t blame him.

Pulev is a bum and Joshua will destroy him like Klitschko did.

Definitely pressure on Joshua to put on a 'show' after his last performance on the back foot.

Eh, if Ruiz could do it Pulev can do it, but he's looked pretty half-assed since the Klitschko KO.

Not an interesting fight to me & both boxers overrated. Just gonna check the result online.

Typical promotor backing his fighter. But this is easy work for Joshua.
