Luke Campbell says he is more than happy to face Devin Haney if the American wants to try to regain his WBC lightweight title. Campbell took part in an Instagram Live chat with promoter Eddie Hearn on Friday, the day he should have been facing Javier Fortuna for the vacant WBC title. The belt had been taken away from Haney, who had been made "champion in recess" after suffering a shoulder injury, requiring surgery, when he beat Alfredo Santiago in November.

Haney Aas made "champion in recess" due to an injury preventing him fighting his mandatory. He's now recovered and able to defend so being reinstated seems a reasonable thing for WBC to do.
If fortuna-campbell is signed, and is going to go ahead, then the winner being Haney's mandatory is also fair.
In any event, they're all gonna go by what WBC decides!
