Comments Thread For: Orlando Salido Satisfied With What He Accomplished in Career

Former world champion Orlando 'Siri' Salido achieved more than anyone could have predicted in boxing. The world recognized him for his dedication, his courage, his toughness, his bravery and the power of his fists. Salido (44-14-4, 31 KO) achieved unthinkable victories, taking on and stopping a then undefeated 'Juanma' Lpez, before a hostile crowd in Puerto Rico, and also shocked the sport when he decisioned current star Vasiliy Lomachenko, and he traded vicious blows with Francisco 'Bandido' Vargas in a fight of the year.

Salido is the kind of guy Tank would never go near but his fanboys cling to his win over Loma. They know Porky is scared of Loma and they justify that with the Salido win. They are a slow bunch who will never give the man any credit.

His fights with Juanma are classics. He will go down as a legend of the sport. Not good enough for the hall of fame but a man who added to the great history of the sweet science.

He was a champion despite a journeyman amount of losses and I don't ever remember a bad Salido fight.

            No complaints from me......

This guy had amazing recovery skills and a crazy will to win lol he was hurt in a lot of his big fights but always found a way to get up with the exception of the Roman fight where his years of wars finally caught up to him.

The Juanma fights were epic. And he handed Lomachenko his first loss.

                  Salido had a memorable career.

He is good enough for the hall of fame. If fighters like Ray Mancini, could get in,them xso should he,he gave his all,and he beat hall of famers.
