Spence does not have the discipline to make a successful return to elite boxing.

He had some talent for sure, but his lifestyle choices prove that he is just not intelligent enough to realise that talent only takes you so far.

I will always admire his ******* though.

I agree, Crawford will take him to school.

Haymon has a contract with the networks and he is running out of fighters that can draw. At 147 neither Danny or Shaun (on their own) can draw enough to justify the numbers.

In the end, if Spence gets beat the PBC is in deep trouble. Keep in Mind, Al Haymon never cultivated a fighter, he has no farm team. All of the fighters at the PBC were actually made and elevated by other promoters. Al simply stole them after they became known with the promise of more money and the ability to keep the promoter fees. In essence they are all self promoted and that's the flaw. By in large, none of the PBC fighters make offers because they don't have the cash or the know how. Frankly, Mikey Garcia, Floyd and Manny were the only guys that could do both and all are no longer fighting on PBC cards. Al Haymon simply can't deliver the product to the networks or the money if he keeps losing his biggest pre-made personalities.
Making matters worse, Al can't move the few prospects he has fast enough because he's not a promoter, he's a manager, a manager that has burned a lot of promoters.

The business model is flawed, it only works if Haymon can maintain his near complete control of the market but the market has changed. Counting on PPV's in an age of steaming was the first mistake. Counting on his biggest Heavyweight to KO some out of shape name was mistake #2. Spence's car accident was 3rd strike and in my opinion the start of the PBC's unraveling.
I hear where you're coming from with all that. It's not just about legacies with PBC fighters but losing means Al's business model takes a huge hit when his leading lights get whooped. The time of ensuring friendly decisions in meaningless fights has to end.

Say what you want about him signing with the Bobfather , maybe it was a mistake maybe not
But Bobfather and Haymon have put other fights together so in all honesty , this should not be the problem
It needs to get done now , before it’s too damn late
And Bud takes this with his footwork , his southpaw stance and the fact that he will throw much more than Spence
I like Spence but just can’t see him winning this fight
It’ll be a chess match for the first 5 rounds and then Bud will switch and hit him at will
I think the fact that Errol is stationary , meaning he likes to stand there and trade , will be the downside because Bud will be moving and hitting , especially from southpaw

Oscar was, Floyd was, Cotto was, and Mikey was too. They all left for a reason. Crawford did not. Maybe that's why his defining moment is beating Jeff Horn? Very sad!

TR is M.I.A. at 147-168. They have some nice fighters, that they promote very well! Bud Crawford just is not one of them.

Spence is fighting Danny Garcia next. That's a very good test to see if the wreckage affected him or not.

Crawford now has no choice but to day dream that he is fu...ng up Spence in a fight that is not happening anytime soon. If ever Spence will comback, its gona be a not risky fight similiar to Ocampo.

That fight with Porter, he walked through the fire. Porter was all over him, throwing and connecting on some hellacious shots. And Spence ate all of them and kept coming forward. This fight is very intriguing. Crawford can crack and box and has so many great skills. Spence is a volume puncher that stays busy throughout each round and tries to wear his opponents down. He throws a lot of body shots too. We have NEVER seen Spence seriously hurt yet so I’m curious what happens when he gets caught flush by Bud. But Bud has been dropped before twice, last fight, and Gamboa.
Gamboa didn't drop but Bud but he damn sure rocked him.
