Comments Thread For: Bivol: Beterbiev Most Dangerous Fighter In The World, But Worth The Risk

Dmitry Bivol obviously would love to challenge Canelo Alvarez. The unbeaten WBA light heavyweight champion would prefer facing Alvarez within the 175-pound division, in which Bivol has competed throughout his five-year professional career. Bivol would move down, however, to the super middleweight division to secure that high-profile opportunity and the career-high payday that would come along with it.

Skill can beat Beterbiev, but obviously you can't make one big mistake against him. It's the best fight in the light heavyweight division, once we are done with the lockdowns and get back to resuming.

Are you suggesting Beterbiev has no skill

Probably the best fight at 175 atm.
          Won't happen though!

It's a fight a lot of people will want to see... Can they make it happen? I'm not convinced fully they'll do it any time soon...

Bivol only wants the Canelo fight because it's a better payday on a fight he may lose. Beterbiev beats him easier than Canelo imo and Bivol gets paid less for that loss

Bivol's trainer said they've sparred already and admits that Beterbiev probably won but Bivol stood his ground

There’s already been discussions about staging this fight in Russia
Beterbiev needs to get his mando out of the way ( Fanlong )
Bivol if he doesn’t get the Canelo fight , which I doubt very much , will have one fight himself and then it’s supposed to happen
Apparently it would be for a good chunk of change as it’s some Russians that are asking for this fight
Both boxers are known quite well from my understanding and also Beterbiev has not fought in Russia since coming to Canada

Beterbiev is the only old fighter Canelo will duck.
