  • Comments Thread For: Jermell Charlo: I Don't Make The Fights, Just Live The Life And Let Them Hate

Jermell Charlo has never been the type to need a fight ahead of him in order to remain in peak physical condition. As the boxing world is at a standstill, Charlo continues to go about each day as if the next phone call he receives will be an alert that he's up to defend his 154-pound title. Nobody knows for certain when that day will come for any boxer, but the two-time and reigning 154-pound titlist from Houston, Texas is ready for that next step at any given time.

This division is ripe for the taking but charlo seems to be more promising out of the lot of 154lbers

Charlo’s are much more interested in purchasing purses and yelling lions only than actually fighting anybody
          Pure waste especially Jermell

Just once I wanna see 2 top rank brothers fight each other. It would've been awesome to see the Klitskos fight and probably even more entertaining to see the Charlos do it. Let's make it happen Lol

Still funny thinking about the hype over the 'hungry young lions' a few years ago, I don't know what they were hungry for but it doesn't look like they had an appetite for world class opponents. Two of the biggest frauds in recent years.

Is this how fighters nowadays justify fighting inferior competition? As a fighter you should have plenty of say in who your fighting.
