  • Comments Thread For: Gabe Rosado: I Will Knock Out Daniel Jacobs; He's More Hype Than Anything

Gabe Rosado trained for his last fight as if he, not Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., would actually battle Daniel Jacobs. Predictably, Chavez came in nearly five pounds overweight for that December 20 bout in Phoenix. Jacobs boxed Chavez anyway, which left Rosado, a contracted backup for Chavez, to out-point Mexican veteran Humberto Gutierrez Ochoa following the main event, in an essentially empty Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Not likely Rosado wins this fight but he was definitely more deserving to get the Jacobs fight than Chavez Jr was. At least we know Gabe wouldn't quit like a b***h over a nose bleed.

Can experts here tell, what the hell was Daniel Jacobs trying to do in the Canelo fight? What was his plan?

he says all the right things in interviews and all, but couldn't do none of that in the ring

Rosado is a punching bag with legs, Jacobs has an easy time with him.

It’s criminal that rosado keeps getting these types of fights. It’s criminal and it’s ridiculous

That same will happen with Demtritus Andrade the only fight he get with Canelo is if somebody pulls out, as for Rosado, this is guy was finished two years ago:3some:

Everyone changes their game plan once they feel the sting of Canelo's counterpunches.

It's the same reason Golovkin stopped trying to go to the body against him.
