Comments Thread For: Brook on Facing Crawford: I Won't Look For a Way Out Like Khan!

Kell Brook believes his domestic rival, Amir Khan, was looking for a "way out" when he was stopped back in April 2019 in the WBO world title fight against Terence Crawford at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Khan was hit with a low blow in the sixth round and indicated to the referee that he was unable to continue the fight, which gave Crawford a TKO win.

Kell didn't quit. His eye socket was broken. Kell came back and boxed Spence right after having his other eye socket broken by GGG. And he's still active to this very day. That can only be described as a true warrior. How about you volunteer and let someone break your eye socket, and let's see if you soldier on and keep fighting like Kell did. Khan quit like a yellow dog with a so- called thigh shot that no one saw except him. All i saw with Khan was him take a sustained beating, quit, make excuses and saying he was just starting to get to Bud when he was fouled, yet never asked for a rematch to right the so-called foul. I also see in Khan a guy who blatantly ducked Kell for a decade

What does Kell need a title for? When he had one, he sat on it for years. He didn't use it to set up a big fight, he just soaked it for steady income. He's obviously looking for a big money fight, but he's damaged goods now. He may not quit, but he'll fall apart. Crawford might bust both his eyes, I'm sure he won't mind. Dr Crawford got poked back last out wahaha. Study long, study wrong.

                  How did he not quit???😂😂

He literally took a knee and refused to continue.

Malignaggi had that exact same injury against Cotto and fought on for 10 rounds even though he had no chance of winning the decision, and it’s not like Paulie even had a punchers chance.

Khan quit against Crawford just as Brook says in my opinion. Brook and Khan trash each other every chance they get. They should have fought each other long ago but khan is afraid to fight Brook. He is right to fear Brook who is a better tougher fighter than Khan. Brook hits much harder and of course has a much better chin. I am sure Brook would KO Khan and Khan could not stand the humiliation of losing to his hated countryman and rival.
