Comments Thread For: Michael Hunter Ready To Face Charles Martin in Final Eliminator

Last month, Charles Martin expressed his interest in facing a highly ranked opponent in his next fight. Martin won an IBF eliminator, when he knocked out Gerald Washington on the pay-per-view undercard to the Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder rematch from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Decent watchable fight. I'd tip Hunter to win by UD, or tire out Martin for late stoppage.

Hunter should outwork Martin, unless he gets caught.

I thought Ruiz was set to face Martin? Hunter's more exciting IMO, so no complaints

Hunter wins by KO before round 10.

Hunter is all wrong for Martin. He just negates all of Martin's strengths

I dont underestimate Martin especially because Hunter isnt all that great.

He is a decent average fighter and when two decent average fighters collide, we gonna see a close one.

Michael Hunter is a fringe contender level fighter at HW so I dont know why so many guys raving about him.

The only "knock" against Hunter is his relatively small size for a HW.
Other than that he is more than a "fringe" contender.

Absolutely nothing special about Martin to not give Hunter a chance against him.

                  50/50 fight at best.

                  Would love to see it.

Rumour has it that Andy Ruiz is in line for a trilogy against AJ
I wouldn’t be surprised since it’s taking a long time for his announcement of his next opponent
Maybe Andy can redeem himself ?
