Las Vegas resident Devin Haney (24-0) was in attendance when it was revealed that he will receive Fighter of the Year honors. Previous winners include Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Terence Crawford.

I'm not sold on Haney hasn't had that big fight that makes me think otherwise he can fight guys like Alfredo Santiago and that Russian who came in swinging wildly but against any of the top guys it's still 50-50 I don't like how these guys sell themselves him and his pops just fight some live bodies and your talent will speak for itself. Does he have great skills definitely he was raised around great boxing minds and had a lot of guidance but he didn't look good to me against Juan Carlos Burgos and I think he is beatable.
